We have 4 Special Events that could use support during preparations and during the event: 

  • Meet the Teacher Night (August) 

  • Grandparent’s Breakfast (September)

  • Trunk-Or-Treat (October)

  • Charity Drive Drive-In Movie (February/March)

Meet the Teacher Event (August)

A lot goes in to the Back to School Bash for Meet the Teacher Night and takes place during the summer months. Preparations include:

  • Researching decor items for the day of that connects to the years theme 
  • Making signs for gym, cafeteria, entrances, and hallways
  • Graphics for communications team as needed
  • Day of setup/teardown (as requested) for decor purchased and made

On the morning of Meet the Teacher, we will setup all decor throughout entrances, gym, cafeteria and hallways.

Trunk-Or-Treat (October)

Preparations for this begin in September as we plan the events activities, decor, food and more. You can be involved by helping with: 

  • Researching decor and activities to purchase
  • Coordinating outdoor movie screen
  • Coordination of trunk signups
  • Food and drink ordering/pickup
  • Day of support: 
    • Setup
    • Concession handling
    • Candy dispersement
    • Photography of participants
    • Voting collection for best trunks
    • Tear down/clean up
TOT Prep Team
We will be planning for the event, getting additional decor and games researched and purchased, discuss additional activities, plan for concessions, and coordinate outdoor movie. This group will begin planning end of August and through September as needed.

  • Finding the charity to support and find their needs that our community can support
  • Connecting with the outdoor movie
  • Prep popcorn for the event
  • Pizza and soda pickup
  • Day of support: 
    • Setup of yard games
    • Concessions setup and handling
    • Cleanup
