Volunteer Requirements

In order to Chaperone or Volunteer in any capacity each school year, you MUST:

1. Complete a background check in Skyward

• Once logged into Skyward, click on "Online Forms" in the menu on the left side of your screen.
• Click the "25-26 Consent to Perform Background Check" under your Hartman Elementary student's name. (If you have students on multiple RISD campuses you will need to complete a form for EACH campus you want to volunteer. If you have multiple students at Hartman, you only need to submit the form one time for our campus.)
• Complete the information and hit submit!

• *Note: background forms can also be filled out using this google form for those not on skyward or complete a hardcopy form and turn in to the front Office.
  

2. Complete Grace Hartman's Volunteer Training

• Online version of the training: GHE Volunteer Training 25/26
• Passing of quiz will record Completion from School.

3. Volunteer group only-Join our Volunteer Remind Group to get notifications about volunteer opportunities as soon as they become available.

*REMINDER, YOU WILL ALWAYS NEED TO SHOW A DRIVER'S LICENSE AT THE MAIN FRONT ENTRANCE DOORBELL BEFORE BEING ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING!
